I’m pleased to announce that I’ve acquired the excellent QViewer tool from Dmitry Gudkov effective January 1. I’ll be marketing, developing and supporting QViewer going forward.
QViewer has a stellar reputation as a must have tool for Qlik Developers. I’m pleased to be taking over such a fine product.
This acquisition is one step in my plan to focus more on software development during 2018. Stay tuned for other announcements during the year.
Existing licensed QViewer customers should email future support requests to support@panalyticsinc.com.
Happy New Year!

Excellent! Will the license model remain the same?
Yes, the license model will remain the same and existing licenses will be carried forward.
Hi Rob,
That is excellent news! I saw Dmitry was selling up, and was fearful for what that may mean for the product (as I also use it near daily). Now I know that it is in excellent hands.
All the best with it.
Steve

Good to read that this so usefull product is still in good hands.
I´d like to suggest a small feature.
I usually comment my tables using something like this
Let t = interval(now() – t);
COMMENT Table MovTitPedidos With ‘Tempo Geracao $(t)’;
this comment goes to qvd xml header, but is not shown into QViewer.
If possible I could thank you so much if you include into a next release
Great suggestion. It’s on the task list for the next update.
Hi Rob, It has been almost 5 months since you have acquired this product but there has not been any version upgrade with feature enhancment. When we can expect next version with new features.
Thanks
Regards
Sajid
Hi Sajid,
QViewer is a very stable product. I have very few items on the enhancement list. I expect to release an update in August with the enhancement requests I have. Is there something specific you are looking for?
Hi, I hope this is the correct place – but as soon as I try to open the view it crashes. I have tried both v3.3 and 3.2. With the same results.
We have it working on our current server – however I am trying to install it on a new server. Is there anything I can try?
For QViewer support, please email support@panalyticsinc.com with as much detail as possible:
1. QViewer release
2. WIndows release
3. Relevant screenshots
Hi Rob,
do you plan any upgrades of the product? It’s very useful, but needs some usability enhancements – for example remembering selected columns when QVD is reloaded.
Hi Bostjan,
I’m always interested in suggestions for product improvement. Please email your suggestions to support@panalyticsinc.com or use the contact form on this website.
Good evening Rob, it would be extremely useful to get the reading functionality not only of QVD, but also of QVX … and also, attention ….)) Hyper and Tde …. it is clear that this is Qviewer and how sideways is Tableau formats, but in our kitchen, all the tools on the table)
